We study and practise vocabulary, grammar, syntax, conversational and business Spanish. You get more than just a tutor. You get a philologist who: ✔️ Understands how the language works from the inside, and explains it clearly, without dry academic jargon. ✔️ Knows the difference between "correct" and "natural" Spanish, and teaches you to speak the way people really do. ✔️ Builds your conversational Spanish by working through idioms and slang from popular shows like "La Casa de Papel" and others. ✔️ Covers any topic, from the basics to specialised fields: medicine, jewellery making, technology, and the specific vocabulary your business in Spain needs. ✔️ Gives you materials that stay with you forever: diagrams, audio and video materials to go with textbooks, visual and other dictionaries, e-books and rare books from my personal collection. ✔️ Keeps an individual record of notes for you after every lesson. I offer Spanish for life: ✔️ For adults: for communication, adaptation and integration into the realities of the Spanish speaking world. ✔️ For entrepreneurs: for professional communication in the Spanish speaking business environment! ✔️ For students: for growth and progress in today's multilingual world! About me
In 2005 I graduated from Saint Petersburg State University with a degree in Spanish Philology and Linguistics. My thesis was titled: "Object-predicative constructions in Spanish after verbs of sensory perception and their syntactic equivalents." I completed a master's programme for teachers of Russian as a foreign language, and the Guide-Interpreter courses at Gid-Intur in 2003. I did an internship at the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2004 to 2005. I spent many years working in tourism and business communications. I have worked as a translator and negotiation interpreter in various countries, from Madrid to Santiago de Chile, so I have a solid grasp of regional accents, slang and cultural nuances. It's exactly this combination, university level philological training plus daily immersion in a living Spanish speaking environment, that makes my lessons unique.
