Pick a time from the tutor's calendar. You see it in your own time zone, and only the times they are really free.

Open the lesson in your browser at the agreed time. Nothing to install, on a laptop or a phone.
What a lesson looks like
The lesson happens on Clasora, so everything that belongs to it stays in one place.
- Video and audio in the browser, with no Zoom account and no meeting link to hunt for.
- Your tutor can share their screen for slides, a document or an exercise.
- A chat inside the call, and a conversation with your tutor outside it.
- Homework, corrections and files stay in that conversation, not in your inbox.
- Join from a laptop or a phone. With your camera off, the lesson still works.
What it costs you
The price on a listing is the tutor's price. Clasora adds nothing to it and takes nothing from it.
There is no subscription, no booking fee and no charge for having an account. Searching, comparing and messaging cost nothing at all, and many tutors offer a free first lesson, so you can find out whether you get on before you pay for anything.
Each tutor chooses how they take payment: by card when you book, or directly with you. The listing says which, before you book.

- Reviews scored on knowledge, clarity and engagement, by students who took a lesson.
- The languages they teach in and the levels they cover.
- An intro video, so you hear someone before you book them.
- Whether they teach online, in person or both, and where.
- Articles some tutors write, which show you how they explain things.
Safety and privacy
What we do so you do not have to think about it.
- Profile photos and listings are checked before they are published.
- Report a message or a person, and a moderator sees it.
- Your email address and phone number are encrypted, and never shown on the site.
- Two-factor sign-in or a passkey, if you want the account locked down.
- Take your data with you, or delete your account, whenever you want.
Thirteen languages
Clasora is published in English, Spanish, German, French, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Serbian, Slovenian, Arabic, Chinese, Korean and Japanese, and tutors teach in many more than that. You can search in your own language and take the lesson in another.
Questions students ask
Does Clasora cost me anything?
No. Searching, comparing, messaging and having an account are free. You pay your tutor, at the price on their listing, and nothing on top.
Do I need Zoom or any other software?
No. The lesson opens in your browser, on a laptop or a phone. Your tutor can share their screen, and the call has a chat of its own.
Is the first lesson really free?
Where a tutor offers one, and many do. The listing shows a free intro when they have set one up.
How do I pay?
Each tutor decides. Some take a card online when you book, some settle with you directly. The listing tells you which before you book.
Can I meet a tutor in person?
Yes, where they offer it. An in-person listing says where they teach and whether they cover the surrounding area.
What if none of the times on the calendar suit me?
Ask for another. You can request a time the tutor has not opened, and they accept or decline it.
Who can see my details?
Your tutor sees the name on your profile. Your email address and phone number are encrypted in our database and are never shown.
