Online Spanish conversation practice

A mistake that does not obstruct meaning is not heard as a mistake, and the person who hears it least is the one making it. While you are speaking you are not listening to yourself, you are assembling the next sentence. That is how people repeat the same wrong form for years and sincerely believe they do not use it. Told about it, they nod, and two minutes later it is back. This is where a call has something a table does not. It records. One click and you have a file. Ten minutes of your own Spanish, played back on a Tuesday evening, does what no amount of explanation can, because you hear the error yourself instead of being told about it. The first playback is uncomfortable for everybody, and after it those two or three things are very hard to keep doing. So the question to ask a tutor is not whether they teach over video. It is whether they record the lesson and send you the file. Plenty do not, simply because nobody has asked. Ask, and build the habit of playing ten minutes back before the next session and writing down what you noticed. A lesson that starts from your list is a different lesson from one that starts with the tutor's topic. It is fair to say when this is worth nothing. If you know you will never open the recording, you are buying nothing, and you are better off in a room where at least somebody stops you in the moment. The same holds if you are not at that plateau yet and following an ordinary conversation still takes effort: daily listening at full speed, without subtitles in your own language, does more and costs nothing. At the free first lesson, ask for it to be recorded and listen to it the same evening. That will tell you both what the tutor is like and how much work you actually have.
