Cookie Policy of Clasora Platform

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies Clasora uses on clasora.com, learninstrument.com and the Clasora app at app.clasora.com, what each one does and how long it stays on your device. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser and reads back on later visits. Your browser's local storage and session storage work in a similar way: they keep small pieces of data on your device for a website. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab, while cookies and local storage stay until they expire or you delete them. In this policy we call all of these cookies, and the table says which type each one is.
2. Strictly necessary
These sign you in and keep the service running. They are always active, and without them you cannot sign in or use your account.

Our staff tools use a few more strictly necessary cookies of the same kinds. They are set only in the browsers of Clasora staff.
3. Preferences and features
These remember choices you make and keep features the way you left them.

When you are signed in to app.clasora.com, your browser also registers a small background script (a service worker) that delivers the notifications you choose to receive. It does not store your browsing.
4. Analytics and advertising
These help us understand how the service is used and whether our advertising works. Most of them are set by Google through Google Tag Manager, on clasora.com and app.clasora.com.

cg_attribution | Cookie | 90 days | Set by Clasora only when you arrive from an ad or from a link with campaign tags. It records which ad or campaign brought you, the page you came from and the page you arrived on, and is sent with a booking request so we can see which advertising works. |
When its tags run, Google may also set cookies on its own domains, such as google.com, doubleclick.net and googleadservices.com. Google explains how it uses them here: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
We also count page views with Rybbit, an analytics service that runs on our own servers. It does not use cookies and stores nothing on your device.
5. Content from other services
Some pages on learninstrument.com show YouTube videos. They load from youtube-nocookie.com and contact YouTube only after you press play. From then on, YouTube may store data on your device under its own policy.
6. Managing cookies
In your browser's settings you can see and delete cookies and site data, and block them for all websites or only some. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in. Blocking analytics and advertising cookies does not change how the service works.

7. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
