Conversation classes in Serbia

A large share of the people looking for conversation practice in Serbia already use English every day, in writing. They answer tickets in it, document in it, read specifications in it, and their written English is better than they think. Then a call starts and none of it arrives. Writing gives you time to assemble a sentence and delete it twice; speaking gives you none, and the habit of composing before speaking is exactly what makes you sound slower than you are. That is a fixable habit rather than a knowledge gap, and it is fixed by talking to a person often enough that the composing step drops away. Meeting face to face suits it because it stops resembling a lesson: a table somewhere, an hour of actual conversation with someone who redirects rather than corrects, and the social pressure of a real person waiting for you to finish the sentence. Ask a prospective tutor to spend the free first hour talking rather than assessing you. If they reach for a textbook in the first ten minutes, they are the wrong one for this.
