Online chemistry tutors
The usual worry about chemistry over video is that you cannot do the practical work, which is true and mostly beside the point. Look at where the marks actually go in a school chemistry paper: stoichiometry, mole calculations, balancing equations, limiting reagents, and then organic mechanisms and the reasoning about why a reaction goes the way it does. Every one of those is pen and paper. A shared screen is arguably better than a desk for the organic half, because a tutor can push electrons around a structure while you watch, then hand you the pen and make you do the next step yourself. Practical technique, the burette and the fume cupboard, stays at school where the equipment is. What a tutor can still do there is walk you through the write up, which is where a lot of coursework marks quietly disappear. Bring the last paper you sat, or the question you could not start, and ask them to work it aloud in the free first lesson. You want the one who narrates the decisions, not the one who writes the answer.
