Maths tutors in Serbia

Maths is the subject Serbian families look for help with most often, for reasons that are easy to see. Two points in a school career settle everything, the mala matura at the end of primary and the entrance exam for a faculty, and the material leading to them stacks up, so a topic missed in the fifth grade shows up again in the eighth. The tutors here are in Belgrade and Novi Sad, but also in Nis, Kragujevac and towns where there is simply nobody local to go to. They work from the same national curriculum, know what the technical faculties ask in their entrance papers, and know the shape of a mala matura question. Some students take an hour a week all year, others book a block before an exam period, and plenty work by video when there is no suitable tutor nearby. A free first lesson is the norm.
