B2 (Vantage / Upper-Intermediate)

Vantage, the Council of Europe's term for B2, is where you get a view of the whole language rather than a corner of it: you interact with fluency and spontaneity, follow a technical discussion in your own field, and write detailed text that holds an argument across paragraphs. The remaining errors no longer stop anyone understanding you, so lessons stop chasing correctness and start chasing precision and range. Conditionals, the passive and reported speech get proper attention, along with the collocations that separate natural English from assembled English. This is the level most universities and skilled work visas ask for.
