How lessons work Every lesson is tailored to your needs and learning style. We focus on practical communication through conversation, vocabulary building, pronunciation, and real-world topics that interest you. As your confidence grows, I may incorporate videos, songs, podcast extracts, articles, or other authentic materials to help you develop listening skills, expand your vocabulary, and become comfortable with different English accents. The goal is not just to learn English, but to use it naturally and confidently in real-life situations.
About me
Hi, I'm Louise, a native English speaker from South Africa. I work with adult learners who want to improve their confidence, fluency, and ability to communicate naturally in English. Many of my students already understand English well but want more practice speaking comfortably in real-life situations. My teaching style is relaxed, supportive, and tailored to each student. During our first lesson, we'll talk about your goals, interests, and current level so that I can create lessons that suit your needs. Depending on your objectives, we may focus on conversation, business English, travel, presentations, interviews, pronunciation, or industry-specific topics. I believe the best way to learn English is by using it. As your confidence grows, I may incorporate videos, songs, podcasts, articles, and other authentic materials to help develop listening skills, expand vocabulary, and expose you to different English accents and natural speech patterns. My aim is to help you feel confident using English not only in lessons, but in everyday life.
