History lessons for high school and elementary school students

I explain history so that the student understands not just what happened, but why, which enables them to answer even the teacher's more demanding questions. I adapt lessons to each student, their prior knowledge and the specific requirements of their teacher, with the aim of making even complex material clear and easy to remember.
I give private history lessons to elementary and high school students, regardless of their prior knowledge. Lessons are also suited to students who have major gaps in their knowledge or find history difficult to understand, since we can work through the material from the very basics, without assuming the student already knows anything. I help with learning and understanding lessons, preparing for tests and oral exams. I try to explain history simply and in an interesting way, with additional explanations and broader context that help the student understand what happened and why. I pay special attention to preparing for the teacher's harder questions. My goal is for even a student who starts with very little knowledge to be able, once they understand the material, to answer questions that require more than just memorizing facts on their own. If needed, lessons can be focused on specific lessons, questions the teacher often asks, and particular requirements they have when testing.
About me
I am a student at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Belgrade, where I study ancient history and languages. History has always been one of my favorite subjects, and throughout my schooling I had excellent grades in it. However, I noticed that for many students the difficulty isn't the facts themselves, but understanding and connecting them. I believe history is above all a story, and that it can be much easier than it seems at first glance. Once a student understands what happened, why, and how events are connected, they no longer have to memorize every fact as something separate. Since I finished high school relatively recently, I know the school curriculum and teachers' requirements well. I want to help students see history this way, make up for what they didn't understand, and master even more demanding lessons more easily.
