I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, and I have trained more than 1,000 students in Mathematics, Statistics, and related analytical subjects. I'm Kayal, an experienced Biomedical Scientist with specialising in neuroscience and I have been tutoring since 2018. According to me as a tutor, it’s important to manage both students' and parents' expectations from day one. With a little cooperation from all parties and some understanding, this can increasingly help improve a student’s learning over time. In my opinion, the first lesson with each student is crucial in laying the foundations for an ongoing relationship and setting the agenda for future sessions. Students are obviously looking to make great progress; however, they are also looking to enjoy learning and working with someone they like, so I try my best to make the process enjoyable. I teach online for almost 2 years and a half online and face to face. At the very beginning, due to the fact I'm not a certified professor, I was surrounded by people that wanted to learn Italian or they were speaking it. I was just help and correct them with the conversation or text messages. I naturally had this predisposition. Then I started to teach online to a few students with real lessons. All depends on the student needs, I usually ask to him-her what are his-her needs and goals, before starting our collaboration together. For me is essential that this person will understand and will have fun. I really like to put energy in my lessons, I love creativity, so my lessons will be based on that and on the main hobbies and interests of my students. The material, as well, is according to the need but in general I give homeworks, I send audio for the pronunciation, songs, videos, book reviews and grammar exercises
