Preparation for FCE test

B2 First is the Cambridge exam most people sit first, and most of the work is learning its shape rather than learning English. Lessons cover each part in turn: the transformations in Use of English, the two writing tasks and their different registers, and the listening, where one missed answer often costs the next. Writing is corrected against the official criteria, so the feedback names a band rather than a vague impression. The speaking test is practised in full, including the paired discussion.
