Chemistry lessons across Serbia
Two quite different people arrive on this page and they need opposite things. For most families chemistry is a mark to defend. It turned up late in the timetable, it is compulsory, and nobody in the house intends to study it any further. For a much smaller group it is the one subject standing between a pupil and a faculty place in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry or chemistry itself, where the entrance exam carries real weight.
A tutor who is excellent for the first job is often the wrong choice for the second, and the reverse is just as true. Somebody who prepares entrance candidates works at a depth and a pace that is wasted on a fifteen year old who simply needs to stop losing marks on mole calculations, and you will be paying for that depth. Somebody patient and good at repairing basics may not have looked at a recent entrance paper in years. So ask the plain question before you book: which of those two jobs have you actually done, and when did you last do it?
If it is the exam, ask which faculty and how recently, because the people who prepare candidates for one specific entrance exam know which problems keep coming back and which ones the collections only look like they ask. If it is the school mark, ask instead how they work out what the pupil has really missed, since a chemistry mark usually falls because of something two chapters earlier.
