Mala matura preparation in Serbia

The mala matura is the exam Serbian pupils sit at the end of eighth grade: three tests, in Serbian, mathematics and a combined paper covering biology, geography, history, physics and chemistry. The points add to the pupil's school grades and decide which secondary school they can enrol in, so preparation pays off well before May. Lessons start with a mock test, then work through the official task collection area by area, with the most time on the tasks worth the most points and on pace. Sessions are one to one or in a small group, in person or online, and the first lesson is often free.
