A2 English lessons, elementary level

A2 is where English starts being useful outside the classroom: you can handle shopping, travel and simple work situations, describe your background in plain sentences, and hold a short conversation on a familiar topic. The grammar that opens this up is the past and the future, so lessons spend real time on irregular verbs and on the difference between what you did and what you have done. Vocabulary widens into family, work, food, directions and money. Progress here is usually about volume of speaking rather than new rules.
