Through personalized and well-organized lessons, students gain substantial knowledge of the English Language, improve their communication skills and build confidence in using it. In parallel, through specialized courses in professional terminology in the fields of Early Childhood Care, Tourism and Business Administration, they acquire language skills they can use in their studies and professional careers.
My lessons are personalized and tailored to each student's level, needs and personal goals. They cover all core language skills (Speaking, Listening, Reading & Writing), with emphasis on grammar, vocabulary building, oral communication and the correct use of the English Language. I work with Primary and Secondary school students, as well as teaching English to teenagers and adults. I also offer specialized courses in Professional English Terminology (English for Specific Purposes, ESP) in the fields of Early Childhood Care, Tourism and Business Administration. In our first lesson, we get to know each other, discuss your goals and expectations and carry out an initial assessment of your language level, so as to identify your strengths and any difficulties. We then put together a personalized teaching plan, with an organized methodology, suitable teaching materials and activities tailored to your needs. My goal is to create a pleasant and supportive learning environment, where every student feels comfortable, builds confidence and makes steady progress!
About me
I am a teacher of the English Language with a degree in English Language and Literature from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (ΕΚΠΑ) and a postgraduate degree in "Teaching English as a Foreign/International Language" from the Hellenic Open University (ΕΑΠ). I also hold postgraduate studies in "Tourism Business and Organization Management" from the International Hellenic University (ΔΙΠΑΕ). I work in public education as an English teacher and have experience teaching students of different ages, language levels and learning needs. My teaching approach is based on personalized instruction, systematic organization and the student's active participation. Each lesson is designed according to the learner's level, abilities and personal goals, making use of suitable teaching materials and modern teaching practices. I place particular emphasis on developing all four language skills (Speaking, Listening, Reading & Writing), on a substantial understanding of grammar and on vocabulary building. At the same time, my academic background in Tourism Business Management allows me to also offer specialized courses in Professional English Terminology (English for Specific Purposes, ESP), with emphasis on the fields of Early Childhood Care, Tourism and Business Administration. I believe that learning a foreign language should be a positive and creative experience. My goal is for every student to feel comfortable, take an active part, overcome their difficulties and progress with confidence!
