Japanese lessons online with Maria (N3 level)

My name is Maria. I've been teaching Japanese for 3 years, and my own level is N3. I went through the whole path myself, from hiragana to reading news and having conversations with native speakers, so I understand well what difficulties beginners face and how to overcome them gently. Lesson structure and teaching style: My lessons are held online and last 50 minutes, the optimal time to stay focused without overloading yourself while still covering a lot of ground. Each lesson follows this structure: 1. a short warm up (reviewing the previous lesson), 2. a new topic (grammar / kanji / vocabulary), 3. immediate practice (exercises, short dialogues), 4. gentle, stress free comprehension check. My style is friendly and supportive. I don't scold you for mistakes, I show you how to fix them easily and productively. In our lessons we talk a lot, listen to short audio clips, and go through real phrases from anime, dramas or everyday life. By the end of the course you'll be able to: ✔ read and write hiragana and katakana with confidence, ✔ understand basic grammar structures, ✔ build simple sentences about yourself, your family, hobbies and daily plans, ✔ hold a simple conversation (greet someone, ask for directions, order at a cafe), ✔ read short adapted texts and grasp their meaning.
